CHOOSING THE RIGHT MODEL

Choosing an undercounter bar fridge

A cabinet being below 900mm does not guarantee it will suit every bench. Check available height, full width and depth, ventilation clearance, door operation and the route into position.

Measure the complete opening

Allow for the cabinet dimensions plus the ventilation space stated for the model. Check skirting, benchtop supports, plugs and other obstructions before ordering.

Select the right frontage

The 121L model saves width, two-door 188L models suit a standard 900mm frontage, and three-door 293L models extend service access across 1350mm.

Choose hinged or sliding

Hinged doors provide direct access and need clear swing space. Sliding doors reduce outward movement and can suit tighter aisles behind a bar.

Below 900mm, not automatically built-in

The under-counter label on this page describes cabinet height. It does not replace the individual model’s ventilation, clearance or ambient-temperature requirements.

Plan access and servicing

Measure the delivery route and leave the condenser and ventilation openings serviceable. Fixed joinery should not prevent routine cleaning or maintenance.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Under Bench Bar Fridges FAQs

Why choose a commercial bar fridge over a domestic one?

Commercial bar fridges are built for constant door opening and all-day running. Our under-bench and back bar models are rated to hold 0–10°C in ambient heat up to 38°C, with a 2 year onsite parts and labour warranty.

How high are these undercounter bar fridges?

Every model in this category is 845mm high. Confirm the full width, depth and required ventilation clearance on the product page.

Which widths are available?

The range includes a 600mm single-door model, 900mm two-door models and 1350mm three-door models.

Can an undercounter fridge be enclosed in joinery?

Only when the selected model’s ventilation and service clearances can be maintained. Ask Borrelli to check the proposed installation if the cabinet will be tightly enclosed.

Are sliding doors better behind a bar?

They can reduce outward door swing in a narrow aisle, while hinged doors provide direct access to the complete compartment. Choose according to the service space.
