CHOOSING THE RIGHT MODEL

How to choose a commercial display fridge

Choose the display frontage and capacity around peak stock, then confirm cabinet depth, door movement, shelf layout, ambient rating and delivery access. The comparison table is a shortlist; the product page contains the final specification.

Choose the display frontage

Single-door models use less floor width; two- and three-door cabinets increase visible stock and service access. Compare shelf layout and capacity as well as the door count.

Choose hinged or sliding access

Hinged doors give direct access to the complete compartment but need swing space. Sliding doors reduce outward movement and can suit tighter customer or service areas.

Check the operating environment

Confirm the model’s temperature range, ambient rating, ventilation requirements and electrical supply. Glass-door display capacity does not replace installation planning.

Canopy and merchandising space

Selected upright display models include an illuminated canopy or light box. Check the individual model because canopy dimensions and shelf configuration vary across the range.

Delivery and placement

Measure doorways, turns and final placement. Larger display cabinets are heavy and require planned access, ventilation clearance and a serviceable position.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Commercial Display Fridges FAQs

Is a display fridge the same as a glass door drinks fridge?

Yes. Most buyers call them glass door fridges or drinks fridges. Our upright display models add a lit sign panel on top and lockable doors.

Can I use a display fridge for cakes or food?

Glass door display fridges suit drinks and packaged food. For cakes, slices and unwrapped food, a countertop cake display fridge holds 2–6°C behind curved or straight glass.

What size display fridge should I choose?

Start with peak chilled stock and the available frontage, then compare external dimensions, shelf layout and door access.

Are hinged or sliding doors better?

Hinged doors provide full compartment access; sliding doors reduce outward swing. The better option depends on aisle space and service workflow.

Do all display fridges have an illuminated canopy?

No. Check the individual product specification for canopy or light-box details, dimensions and lighting.
