CHOOSING THE RIGHT MODEL

Choosing a commercial under bench fridge

Start with the available bench line and required chilled capacity, then compare door count, solid or glass access, external dimensions, operating range and ventilation. Preparation models are identified separately because their worktop and ingredient-pan arrangements change the installation.

Choose the cabinet format

Standard counter fridges provide refrigerated storage beneath a work surface. Prep configurations add raised preparation or ingredient-pan sections and therefore need different height and workflow planning.

Measure the full service line

Confirm width, depth and height, including lids, splashbacks or serveries. Allow for doors, castors, plugs, ventilation and the route into position.

Choose solid or glass doors

Solid doors conceal stock and suit back-of-house storage. Glass doors make stock visible but require cleaning and may change how the cabinet is used in a customer-facing area.

The top is your bench

The flat stainless steel top is a working prep surface, so the fridge replaces a separate bench rather than sitting under one.

Capacity is only one comparison

Door count, shelf dimensions, worktop format and external width determine daily usefulness. Confirm the complete product specification before planning a fixed bench line.
