CHOOSING THE RIGHT MODEL

How to choose a commercial bar fridge

Start with the installation space and service requirement, then compare capacity, door operation and ambient rating. The range table gives a practical shortlist; the individual product page remains the source for final dimensions and installation requirements.

Start with cabinet height

Under-counter models are below 900mm, freestanding models are 900mm and upright models are above 900mm. Always allow the ventilation clearances stated for the selected model.

Choose the service frontage

One-door models save width, while two- and three-door cabinets spread stock across a wider service area. Compare external width and shelf layout rather than capacity alone.

Check doors and finish

Hinged doors provide direct compartment access; sliding doors reduce outward swing. Black and stainless options change presentation, but neither finish alone determines outdoor suitability.

Capacity and usable layout

The litre figure is useful for comparison, but shelf quantity, bottle format and internal dimensions determine how the space works in service. Open the product page for the full specification.

Installation comes first

Measure the cabinet space, delivery route and door clearance. Check ventilation, ambient-temperature limits, power supply and model weight before committing to joinery or a fixed position.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Commercial Bar Fridges FAQs

Why choose a commercial bar fridge over a domestic one?

Commercial bar fridges are built for constant door opening and all-day running. Our under-bench and back bar models are rated to hold 0–10°C in ambient heat up to 38°C, with a 2 year onsite parts and labour warranty.

What size commercial bar fridge do I need?

Estimate peak stock, decide how many service points need access, then confirm the external dimensions and ventilation allowance against the available space.

What is the difference between under-counter and upright?

This page classifies cabinets below 900mm as under-counter, exactly 900mm as freestanding and above 900mm as upright. Installation suitability still depends on the model specification.

Should I choose hinged or sliding doors?

Hinged doors give direct access but require swing space. Sliding doors reduce outward movement and can suit narrow service aisles.

Are commercial bar fridges suitable outdoors?

Do not assume they are outdoor-rated. Check the model’s ambient-temperature and installation requirements, and ask Borrelli about the proposed location before ordering.
