How many burners?

Gas boiling hob tops come in 2, 4 and 6 burner counter-top models, plus a 4-burner stove with a warmer. Count the pots you run at your busiest — a small café gets by on two, a full kitchen line wants four or six. More burners also means more input, so check your gas supply is sized for it.

Gas or induction?

  • Gas burners — the standard for boiling, simmering and open-flame work; instant control and independent of a big power circuit.
  • Induction wok — our 3500W wok induction hob heats the wok directly for fast, controllable, efficient stir-frying with far less waste heat into the kitchen. A clean, powerful choice for a dedicated wok station. Pairs with a proper wok pan shaped for induction.

What to look for

  • Burner output (kW/MJ) — the number that decides how fast you boil and how hard you can sear; match it to the work.
  • Trivet and burner build — heavy cast trivets take big pots and last.
  • Gas type — natural gas vs LPG; confirm what your site runs and that the unit's set for it.
  • Ventilation — open burners need extraction; plan the canopy.
